Merlyn M. Banks, Licensed Virginia Real Estate Principal Broker/Real Estate Instructor, PHD, MBA, GRI, CPM, RMP, SFR
I began my career as a Paralegal, in Residential and Commercial Property Management in 1987, and gained extensive knowledge in real estate law, asset, trust, wills, deeds, third party, portfolio and conventional management. My number one goal has always been to stay up to date on legislative changes, and to be the voice in advocacy to our customers, clients, Landlord and tenants. Throughout my career, I have always made education the cornerstone of my success, and have achieved distinguished industry designations as outlined below. In addition to my Real Estate Designations, and Virginia Real Estate Broker License, I have attained a Bachelors in Business Administration from Columbia University, a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a PHD in Management both with Webster's University. As an active member of the REALTOR® chapters; I enjoy being a selfless servant leader in our industry. Education

Wendy Kelly, Licensed REALTOR® in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Wendy has joined the BANKS Property Management & Sales Team offering an array of skills and services. Prior to obtaining her Real Estate Professional, Wendy enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served as a Human Resource Management Analyst and retired after 22 years of faithful service. While in the Marine Corps, she achieved an extensive knowledge, leadership experience and understanding of Administrative management concepts, principles, policies, procedures and practices pertaining to a variety of administrative functions and programs such as Correspondence Management, Files Management, Human Resources Management and Financial Management. After transitioning from the Marine Corps, Wendy served as an Instructional System Designer for Professional Solution, where she assisted in developing a practical and executable cultural training and education program for the Marine Corps’ Operating Forces, for the Center for Advanced Operational Culture Learning (CAOCL). She then transitioned and served as a Crisis Response Program Manager for Marines assigned to the Pentagon and the surrounding areas. Wendy Graduated from Averett University in 2013 with a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Park University in 2007. Lisa Stretch is a native-born Fredericksburg Resident. She graduated from Courtland High School and began her career in the administrative field as a Client Services Representative. While working in the Health field profession, Lisa was recognized and promoted to an Area Client Service Supervisor, where she was responsible for all the administrative functions. Lisa’s administrative background includes comprehensive Customer Service, Human Resource, Research Development and Office Supervision. Lisa has continued to provide administrative support for the last 29 years in her career field where she has been successful. We welcome Lisa Stretch to BANKS Property Management & Sales as we know she will be a great asset to our Tenants, Owners, Vendors and Office Staff Members. While using every opportunity to further her knowledge in the Property Management industry, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, watching sports and relaxing on the beach.
